Happy 40th Surfer Sister!

Wow! It's been a long time since I have been able to sit down and do a post. This is a card I made for my surfing sister who lives in San Diego. I bought this Penny Black stamp set awhile ago with the intent to make my sister a few cards. It is such a fun and sunny set.

Happy Birthday Alex!

Birthday wishes are sent out today to my son Alex, who is now 14! Wow! How time flies! As soon as I saw this Mo Manning image, I knew this would be the perfect choice for a teenage boy. I hope you like the card Alex and that your birthday is all you hoped for.

Pretty Purple

The following card was inspired by a sketch from Card Patterns sketch 160.

I have been waiting to use some of my new Gina K. stamps and was loving the purples in this pattern paper. Hope you enjoy my version of this sketch.

Easter Blessings

I made a couple of Easter cards using my new favourite technique (using the negative space of die cuts). I decided to go for a more serious, subtle card using one of my most loved CAS designs. This card is a big step away from my more typical whimsical style.
