Doodle Picture

Today the theme over at Saturday's Paper a la Mode on the Outlawz Challenges is Doodles. As soon as I saw the theme, I knew that I wanted to try to create something hand drawn. Now the problem is that I can't draw something from scratch, but if I see something I like, I can make a relatively good copy. So I headed on over to Pinterest to look for some inspiration. You can see the original here. I think I CASEd this pretty well. :) Just wish I could come up with some of these great ideas on my own. Hope you like it.

I used Simon Says Stamp water color paper, copic multiliners along with inktense pencil crayons and a Tim Holtz water brush. Easy Peasy!

Challenges I would like to enter:

Make It Monday - always anything goes
Inspire Me Fridays - always anything goes
4 Krafty Girlz Challenges - anything goes
As You Like It - Favourite Not a Card Project and Why?
This project is one of my favourites in a long time, because it is truly artsy and something that I drew myself. This takes a lot of effort on my part as it doesn't come naturally, so it makes me proud to finish a picture like this.

Have a great weekend,

Skater Dude Birthday!

Wow! I finally have internet again! 5 days without pretty much did me in. Anyhoo, the challenge over at the Outlawz - Saturday Paper a la Mode Challenge this week is to use something old that you have never used before. How fun! We got to dig into our stashes for this one. Even though my posting on here is late, there is still time to join in. There are some fab prizes up for grabs, so please come check us out.

My card was given to my son for his birthday. The stamp and the skater boy stamp and the papers have been in my collection for at least a couple of years. The stamp is a bugaboo image from stampaliscious. The papers are so old that I am not sure anymore. I want to say My Mind's Eye. I also included some MFT dies that are getting to be my favourites and a CAS-ual Fridays stamp as well for the greeting. The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Markers.
