Chevron Thanks

Hello all! It sure has been awhile since I have had time to craft . . . however, this weekend I managed to make a few thank you cards which I will finish and post over the next couple of days. This first is done with an MFT chevron die that I just love. This brushed silver/grey paper has been in my stash for awhile just waiting for me to use (I tried to find a link for it at GKD, but it must be discontinued).

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

CAS-UAL Fridays - Shades of Gray
Avenue 613 - anything goes / use your stash
Sister Act Card Challenge - anything goes
Make It Monday 181 - anything goes

Blessed

Hello all! I am still on a stencil kick. Today I tried to do a mostly one layer card :). I was inspired by the challenges this week at CASE Study and CASology where this week the cue word is purple. I will attach the CASE study card below for you to see. I used a Crafter's Workshop stencil and distress inks. I pulled the flower out of my stash and added a tiny bit of bling so I had areas to hide the adhesive for attaching my vellum. Hope you like!

I used 2 different types of lighting so you would see the shine of the embossing powder.

As I said above I will be entering my card in the following challenges:

CASE Study

I was inspired by the bold flower and the vellum greeting!

Other Challenges:

Sister Act Card Challenge - anything goes
4 Crafty Chicks - anything goes

Thanks for stopping in and have a super crafty day,

Stencil Misting

Ok one last quick post before I head out to work this morning. Have I mentioned that playing with stencils is a little addicting? LOL! So much fun to get inky. Here is my third card for the Stenciled class over at OCC. On this card I chose to mist with a DIY stencil made with a new SSS die. Stamp set is CAS-ual Fridays. Birthday die is PTI and stars are SSS.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Sister Act Card Challenge - anything goes
4 Crafty Chicks - anything goes
Cute Card Thursday - something new (new technique and new die)
Tuesday Throwdown - one layer
CASology

Thanks for stopping in! Always much appreciated.

I appreciate you!

I'm back with another quick post from my Stenciled class. I tell you homework has never been so much fun before! What a fun technique - adding shimmer to your stencil work . . . LOVE this! I took a few pics so hopefully you can see all that shine that is so hard to capture on camera. I am working really hard in 2014 to use things in my "stash" - thus the black flowers on my last two projects.

I would like to enter my card at Make It Monday where it is always anything goes.

Good Day

Hello Blogland! I finally made it to my craft room this month. I hope to post a few cards over the next couple weeks as I'm in the OCC Stenciled class and after only 2 days am learning so much. My card is inspired by both Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner on two different days.

I'm doing this post off my phone. I'll be back later with a supply list.

I'd also like to enter this card over at Make It Monday where it is always anything goes!

Thanks for stopping by,

Katherine
