More Thank You's

Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I have had a moment to sit down and post. I have been able to slip in some card making time, but other than taking pics of my cards, there has been no time to post them. I hope to do some catching up on my blog over the next few days. The posts will be simple and there is no time for supply lists, but feel free to let me know if you have any questions. These are some cards that I made for the parent volunteers in my school. Hi Friend!

I have been working on another technique from the CAS 3 class over at OCC. One minute I LOVE this card and then I wonder if it is too busy. Nonetheless, I am being brave and posting it. LOL! This is the Faux Layering Die Cuts Technique and I even used my fav chevron background die and layered that (this is where I wonder if I went a little overboard???). Anyhoo :) - here's my card!

Thought I would include this picture to show the shimmer of the Wink of Stella Marker added for accent.

Plaid Happy Birthday!

Ok, I am finally getting to do one card from the OCC Clean and Simple Cards 3 class I am in! So much fun and so much inspiration, just haven't had time to craft. This card was inspired by none other than Laura Bassen. First time I have tried the plaid technique and my card is as close to one layer as I will probably get. By the time the class is done, I hope to do a one layer card in the purist of form.
